Lives and works in Berlin, Germany
—
In my work, I explore the grid as the purported structure of our lives which needs to be questioned. But order is also automatically inherent in chaos and the classifying construct of our existence - the supposed reality - and is called into question by disruption. Thus, the grid is a guideline, border and obstacle at the same time. I am interested in these contrasts and dichotomies such as order and chaos, repetition and disruption. One cannot exist without the other, both concepts are dependent on each other. This condition, the ambiguities and the resulting tension are guiding questions in my work.
