Lives and works in London, United Kingdom
—
The foundation of my practice lies in photography. In my work, it is a material that lives through the energy of colours, textures and the feel of the surfaces, often in display of images and collages of photographic paper exposed to light in the colour dark room. Influenced by memories, poetry and traditional craft making, I weave together elements and by stretching and twisting associations, I explore a dialogue between the recognisable and the unseen, figuration and abstraction, and the in-between spaces where things are neither fully hidden nor revealed.
